Hi! I am a Registered Dietitian with more than 20 years of experience in the field, including more than a 15 years practicing as a Certified Specialist in Oncology Nutrition at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) as a Senior Clinical Dietitian. I have also been lucky to also work with athletes of all abilities for the past 15 years. At my core, I’m passionate about helping people feel better through healthy food & movement. I love making people see the good in food. I will help you sort through the nutrition noise, and make positive health changes!

At MGH I have been fortunate to work with many people and their loved ones undertaking the scary world of a cancer diagnosis and treatment. My pragmatic and individualized approach to nutrition has helped many thrive through the challenges of treatment, and the often confusing time after treatments are completed.

I have also been the lead nutritionist for the Oncology Lifestyle Medicine clinic at MGH working with both individuals and in the group setting where we encourage a (mostly) whole food eating pattern, restorative sleep, physical activity, stress management, & positive social connections to prevent and treat chronic disease.

After competing as a collegiate division I athlete, I spent most of my first year after college not moving during a busy and rigorous year as a dietetic intern at MGH. Feeling the need to move my body again, a friend introduced me to the L Street Running Club in South Boston where I quickly became hooked on the camaraderie of group long runs, leading to the completion of 14 marathons including 8 Boston Marathons, & countless half marathons and races.  I’ve also dabbled with the ultra-distance. Now as a “masters” runner, strength training has never been more important. The group classes at LIFT Training Collective have been vital to injury prevention. I’ve also had the pleasure of leading couch-to-5K training programs encouraging all levels of running.  Back when I caught the running bug, I began counseling runners for peak performance and now have more than 10 years of experience providing nutrition counseling to runners and athletes of all abilities helping them maximize their nutrition for performance, all while encouraging a healthy relationship with food.

As a result of working with so many people over the years, I have experience working with people with diabetes, IBS/IBD, elevated cholesterol, orthorexia/disordered eating and have spoken to a number of support groups and professional organizations.

As a mother of 2 boys, I understand feeling like there isn’t enough time to make all the food, do all the work, get in all the movement, get all the sleep. Every. Day. But - I can help coach and motivate you to make it work!
